Tips/Resources/Tutorials: Helpful tips, resources, tutorials and any information that will benefit the Entrepreneur and soon-to-be Entrepreneur.

Interviews/Podcasts: Exciting, insightful and informational interviews/podcasts with Entrepreneurs, organizations and business resources.

Community: A strong and lively online community through message boards, chats and interviews.

The Person Behind The Business Herald

My name is Sammy Villarreal and my passion is Entrepreneurship & Business.  Through the years I’ve been involved in a few Entrepreneurial ventures.  Some successful, others not so successful, but at the end of the day I have enjoyed each experience.  Looking back, I think those so-called "failures" may have been the most rewarding because of what I learned along the way.

Although being involved in the world of Entrepreneurship & Business is my passion and hobby, my "real" job has been serving on Active Duty in the US Marine Corps for the past 11yrs.  Almost immediately after graduating high school(Midland High School: 1996), I was shipped out to the Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot in San Diego, CA.  Initially, I signed-up to become a Marine Sniper(doesn’t everyone?), but the Marine Corps "big wigs" decided that I would work in the Supply & Logistics field.  At the time I didn’t even know Marines did anything else.  Fast forward 11yrs, marriage(still am), 3 beautiful children, 2 deployments later and I finally made the decision to leave the Marine Corps to pursue my passion… Entrepreneurship. So who knows, I may share my new Entrepreneurial journeys and experiences along the way.
